Welcome to Ana Louise Studio

I am a surface pattern designer based in the countryside of Lincolnshire. Having a background in historic collections and conservation and restoration I have found the love of creating patterns in later life. I am inspired daily by the beautiful world we live in and the endless possibilities nature provides for us.

Through nature I have found more balance from the hectic life we are drawn into today.  From an idea a collection grows. Sketching, painting and foraging, all form part of the journey to a completed collection. Then occasional one off ideas pop up and it is a way to explore new techniques. The exciting journey of learning never stops.
